Grizzly Man is a 2005 documentary film by German director Werner Herzog. It chronicles the life and death of environmentalist and bear enthusiast Timothy Treadwell.
The film was created from interviews by Werner Herzog and drew from over 100 hours of video footage shot by Treadwell during the last five years of his life. Herzog also narrates, and notably states his interpretations of the events depicted at the film's beginning and end.
