was written by George Horatio Derby under the nom de plume of John Phoenix.

There are several editions of the book freely available on-line, this is the earliest I can find: Phoenixiana; or, Sketches and Burlesques.

My copy of Phoenixiana is a first edition and it is slated to join your library some distant day. It even includes Bob's brief review - something he did for all of his history books. M
