first the fruit. So far today, I've eaten the following fruit related things:
  three fifths of a smallish Olallieberry pie from Beckman's Old World Bakery
  two yellow Nectarines (slightly green, slightly sour, perfect)
  one pint (plus) of Strawberries (NY Times: Dispute Over Pesticide for California Strawberries)
  two Dryer's Pomegranate fruit bars
