Chris and I just returned from ...
watching the documentary Waiting for "Superman" (yes, the title of the film has unnecessary quotation marks) at the Piedmont Theater in Oakland followed by dinner at Shen Hua in Berkeley.
Takeaways from tonight's performance:
* I find it really-really annoying when people come in to the theater late, sit in front of everyone, play with their cell phones, then leave fifteen minutes later so they can go see the movie they actually have tickets for. And then return five minutes later, with their iPhones in flashlight app mode to look for whatever dreck they left behind.
* Oh, and all public schools suck.
BTW - Chris and I have been enjoying the documentaries on HBO and a new series on FOX called "Raising Hope". Raising Hope seems like a cross of Raising Arizona and Arrested Development.
