I was up early (working of course) and had a ...
really good 'feel' for the 3.2 earthquake that just occurred at 4:25 am.

PRELIMINARY EARTHQUAKE REPORT
Not much ground motion but a very sharp crack/boom that lasted for less than a second and had me just starting to duck-n-cover under my desk.
Nothing fell or even moved around inside our apartment, and the pool remained calm - none of the sloshing that I remember during the aftershocks of the 1994 Northridge quake.
Liquefaction be damned: We're in the very worst possible area of the map - both for liquefaction and ground-shaking amplification.
And now ... back to work!
