I feel so dirty ...

because I took the car to work today.

I had my bicycle all packed up, I was wearing my helmet and all my bike clothes, started to walk out the door when I noticed ... the rear tire was very flat.

I made a brief attempt at inflating the tire but heard the hiss of escaping air almost immediately from around the valve stem.

I didn't feel like changing the tube so early in the morning - the bike sheds too much dirt to work on indoors and it was to cold to work out on our porch.

So, I changed clothes, unpacked the bike and drove to work.

Oh, the shame.
