Thanks to the potholed streets of Oakland ...

my bicycle has a broken rear wheel (a split in the rim with a significant bulge on the brake surface) and is in for repairs (a new wheel and new spokes) at Bay Area Bikes just down the street from work.

I want it back ASAP, but will probably have to wait until next week. My bike stats will suffer.
