Foiled again by ...

snow drifts on obscure back roads at eight or nine thousand feet elevation. In every case, the only sign of other traffic was from ... snowmobiles.

So we turned around - several times rather than attempt to traverse the longer and deeper snowdrifts.

The start of our adventures. Impulsively we made plans to drive all the way to Provincetown, MA but I got distracted by a dirt road just a mile or two past this sign and we didn't see pavement again for sixty miles and never made it to Provincetown.

Great pictures once again... am so happy you are on this trip with Mom. Wish I was along... NOT! Too much driving aimlessly for me! :)
